Our Philosophy

Comprehensive. Compassionate. Personal.

Orchid Bloom Psychiatry was founded on the belief that mental health care should be comprehensive, compassionate, and deeply personal.

“True healing happens when we stop asking what is wrong with you and start asking what happened to you — and what does your body need to recover?”

We treat the whole person — mind, body, and hormones — because real healing goes beyond symptoms.

Rooted in wholeness, blooming through care.

We believe that mental health is inseparable from physical, hormonal, and social well-being, requiring a care model that looks beyond symptoms to the whole woman. By honoring the unique complexities of the female experience, we provide integrated support that nurtures a woman’s mind, body, and spirit.

HAVE QUESTIONS?

Clarity Before You Bloom

Our practice is primarily focused on women’s mental health — that is our passion and our specialty. That said, we welcome patients of all backgrounds — including men, even if you’re only here because someone you love gently (or not-so-gently) suggested it. We do make exceptions for men who were patients in Renee’s previous practice, as well as spouses or partners of current patients. Spaces for male patients are very limited, so please call the office directly to discuss availability. Everyone deserves thoughtful, personalized psychiatric care, and we are committed to providing that across the board.

We offer both in-person and telehealth. We offer in-person at our beautiful Downtown, Stuart location. We also offer telehealth appointments for all services, available to patients throughout the state of Florida — so you can receive expert care from the comfort of your own home.

Yes, we do both! Even though our primary focus is psychiatric evaluation and medication management, we deeply value the whole-person approach to care. We offer extended visits to weave psychotherapy such as supportive counseling and psychoeducation into our appointments as part of your care. While we are not a therapy practice in the traditional sense, you will never feel rushed or unheard here. If more intense therapy is something you’d benefit from, we are happy to work alongside your therapist or help connect you with one.

Simply fill out the appointment request form on our website or call our office directly. We’ll reach out to schedule your new patient intake appointment.

We do our best to see new patients in a timely manner. Availability can vary, so we encourage you to reach out as soon as you’re ready. Telehealth appointments often have greater flexibility in scheduling.

For your first appointment, it’s helpful to have:

• A list of any current medications (including supplements)
• Any relevant medical or psychiatric records if available
• Your insurance card
• A list of questions or concerns you’d like to discuss

Most importantly, bring yourself — your story matters, and we want to hear it.
